Description:
The main objective of this project is to brand a beverage (soda,beer,wine etc) company and design a set of beverage package. In this particular project, flavoured soda was chosen. The target audience of these sodas are mainly for children and adolescences.
The main theme of this project is ‘8-bit game design’. Not only that kids love games and characters, adolescences will have interests to it since it brings their old memories when they were used to play arcade games.
Faded colours were used to bring the old vintage feeling to the cans but yet clean enough to be contemporary, hence it does not look outdated. Colourful space themed background were used as a real picture in order to make the main design (which is the planet and the alien) to pop up better.
The flavours can be known by from the helmets of each aliens. They were designed according to the flavours, which also gives unique characteristics to each aliens. Also, flavours can be known by the conceptual names of each beverage.
